About the Oganihu Isiokpo foundation
Oganihu Isiokpo Education Empowerment Foundation was born out of a profound concern for the rapidly declining standard of education in our beloved community of Isiokpo. It is heartbreaking to witness many children complete primary school without the ability to read or write—a situation that reflects the urgent need for meaningful and sustainable change.
Over the years, many of our sons and daughters have stepped up to support schools and students in various ways, such as providing exercise books, notebooks, and other essential materials. While these individual efforts have been commendable, they often lacked coordination and fell short of addressing the deeper, systemic issues.
This foundation is our collective response—a commitment to bridging the gap and creating a future where every child in Isiokpo has access to quality education. Through collaboration, innovation, and unwavering dedication, we are building a sustainable framework that empowers students, supports teachers, and strengthens our community.

To transform Isiokpo into a beacon of educational excellence in Rivers State and Nigeria by providing access to quality education, innovative learning opportunities, and supportive systems. We envision primary and secondary schools as hubs of excellence, where every child can reach their full potential and shine.

Our mission is to enhance the educational landscape of Isiokpo by providing innovative learning opportunities, capacity building for educators, and resource support for primary and secondary schools, thereby fostering a culture of academic excellence, creativity, and social responsibility, and empowering the children of Isiokpo to become confident, informed, and active contributors to their community and the world at large.
